Familiar Feeling
The struggle lies in hurting where my heart should be. Instead, it’s a hollow eminanting feeling that leads me to wondering where it is originating from. Its been a long time. Empty, nice to have you back. Or is that Failure? I’m all too familiar with both to effectively differentiate between either.

In the gym, my gender bias conscious commands “man up” and my androgynous subconscious replies “hey girl” in a deep rally cry!

People tell me I have a great body, but dont realize it’s partially a product of my perceived inadequacies.

We fought against so many odds, and overcame them all, yet, at present, what do we have to show for it? nothing.
Misdirected Priorities
My cat is dying and yet I only have time to focus on my studies. What will I do tomorrow when I receive the “call” from the hospital before my exam? Take a deep breathe, and enter the classroom.
